Upper Gullies Elementary, which was built in 1975, is situated at 30 Roberts Road South in the town of Conception Bay South. Enrolment at Upper Gullies Elementary is growing and there are currently 420 students in grades K to 6. Upper Gullies Elementary boasts a large spacious playground, which includes a large soccer field, basketball area, playground and a natural area for winter activities such as sliding. The second floor of the school has a true resource "center" which is surrounded by classrooms. The catchment area for Upper Gullies Elementary extends from the west side of Legion Road in Kelligrews to the east side of the Quarry Bridge in Seal Cove. This area has a hugh potential for growth, as has been evident by the increasing enrolment in the school.
