St. Andrew's Elementary School is located in north/central St. John's close to Memorial University. The school has been part of this community since 1964. It's 239 students and 21 teachers 8 dedicated support staff and the school community in general, represent many backgrounds and cultures. We offer a two stream Kindergarten to Grade 6 curriculum with the Intensive Core French program offered at grade 6. The school is recognized as a member of Peaceful Schools International and promotes a code of behavior attuned to these ideals. We offer a daily hot school lunch program, intramural sports activities, running club, basketball club, homework club, drama club, art club and skipping club. The school participates in many projects and activities to promote a variety of experiences for our students. Guided by the St. Andrew's School Council and our excellent staff and a supportive community, we work hard to maintain our school as a warm and welcoming establishment that meets all students needs.
