John Burke High School, Grand Bank, offers grades eight to twelve to 220 students from the communities of Grand Beach, Grand Bank, and Fortune. The school opened in 1978 and is named in memory of Dr. John Burke who dedicated his life to providing medical care to residents of this area for more than 50 years. The school offers a diverse academic and co-curricular program to its students. The school is scent free.
