Cape St. Francis Elementary School is located at 31 Satellite Road in the beautiful and scenic town of Pouch Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador. Our school is approximately twenty minutes outside the city of St. John's. The school was opened in January 2002 and serves the educational needs of the communities of Bauline, Flatrock, and Pouch Cove.
We are a small school with a population of 240 students attending Kindergarten through Grade Six. We offer all programs as outlined by the Department of Education for Newfoundland and Labrador. The school is focused on continuous improvement of academics, with a particular focus on early literacy and mathematics, while keeping in mind the need for the social and emotional development of the child. We offer intramural programs plus a choral and band program. Our dedicated staff strives tirelessly to meet the needs of all the children under our care. Cape St. Francis Elementary supports the local community by opening our facility to community groups such as Karate, Church and recreational groups.
Upon completion of grade six our students attend Holy Trinity High School, a grade seven to level three school, in Torbay.
