The Eastern School District is guided by the Department of Education's Student Support Services Policy Manual (2005). Two interrelated models guide the development and delivery of supports and services to students with special needs throughout the province. These are:

• The Model for Coordination of Service to Children and Youth

• Pathways to Programming and Graduation
